With its light weight, easy processing and inexpensive price, expanded polystyrene (EPS) has been widely used in our daily life. Boardlong and Foamboard are Hyunjin Boardlong’s own brand names for products made of EPS.
To create Boardlong and Foamboard, EPS is processed to have appropriate strength, thickness and size for stationery and art purposes.
Another brand of Hyunjin Boardlong, Woodrock, includes several stationery and art materials such as woodrock, cutters, woodrock bonds, inks, tapes and blackboards.
It is general assumption that plastic is not an environmentally friendly material. However, 98% of EPS that we use as the basic material for our products is made of air.
In addition, it is an economical material as it is highly recyclable and environmentally harmless. EPS products have even lower impact on the environment than paper or wood based products. |
